⛔️ Why you shouldn’t apply: This role isn’t for you if you prefer clearly defined tasks over ambiguity, or aren’t comfortable rolling up your sleeves to write specs, lead meetings, and drive technical documentation forward yourself.
Why Nomentia is your next career move
If you've spent the last few years building ERP integrations, navigating technical specs, and collaborating with developers, and now you're ready to step up, take ownership, and lead from the front, this is the role that makes that leap possible!
Maybe you’ve been working in an ERP consulting company or integration-heavy projects. You’ve grown tired of fragmented assignments and are now craving a product you can truly shape. Or maybe you're a developer or integration consultant who's naturally taken on more responsibility, and now wants the title, trust, and ownership that match your impact.
At Nomentia, you get all of that without having to "wait your turn."
We're hiring this role because…
We’re moving away from legacy file-based ERP integrations and doubling down on our API-first product strategy. That transition is critical for our scalability, customer experience, and long-term growth. You’ll be the one leading that shift.
This is not a “define the vision and delegate” kind of role. We know where we’re headed. What we need is someone who can write the specs, align stakeholders, steer developers, and still find time to document what we just built. If you're technically sharp, people-savvy, and driven by solving complex real-world problems, you'll thrive here. To get started, you’ll have a mentor, clear goals, and a talented dev team ready to build what you shape.
Role details
As Product Manager in this role at Nomentia, you’ll take ownership of ERP integrations, a critical focus area as we move from legacy file-based systems to modern, API-first solutions. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, working closely with developers, stakeholders, and customers to ensure seamless, scalable integrations that support our international growth.
What you’ll be doing
Here’s what your work will focus on:
Leading ERP integration projects from idea to delivery
Gathering business and technical requirements from internal teams and customers
Writing technical documentation and detailed specifications for development
Guiding and supporting your dev team through planning, execution, and testing
Prioritizing tasks and managing your team’s weekly work based on roadmap goals
Defining and maintaining the product roadmap for ERP connectivity and API-based connectors
Creating documentation and materials to support productization and customer onboarding
Communicating progress, product decisions, and changes to stakeholders
What your typical day might look like
In the morning, you might review new requirements with your dev team, clarify open questions in Jira, and adjust priorities for the week. After that, you could meet with Sales or Customer Success to discuss a client’s integration needs, then finalize a technical spec for a new ERP connector. Later, you might join a call with a Polish subcontractor, or present the roadmap status to Jaakko, your manager. Expect lots of collaboration, documentation, and steady progress toward building high-quality integrations.
Who you’ll work with
Your core team: 3–7 developers (based in Tampere, Helsinki, or Poland)
Your manager: Jaakko, Head of Product, who is strategic, supportive, and hands-off
CTO: Ari will support you technically, especially during onboarding
Other product managers: A sharp, experienced group to spar with and learn from
R&D resource managers: Help allocate support for your projects
Customers and internal stakeholders: For gathering use cases, feedback, and specs
What success looks like in this role
In the first 6 months, you’re expected to:
Successfully onboard into your product domain with support from a mentor
Deliver complete specifications and documentation for new ERP connectors or APIs
Build and begin executing your ERP integration roadmap
Be fully integrated into the product team and driving work forward independently
Longer term, you’ll be measured by:
Your contribution to shared team goals (which impact your bonus)
Delivery of integration projects that meet quality, timeline, and business impact targets
Improvements in the speed and quality of how we build ERP integrations
Your ability to identify and act on new opportunities in the ERP/API space
