Senior Fullstack Developer – Build real impact in construction tech
Location: Hybrid in Helsinki
TL;DR
✅ Compensation: 5500–6500 €/month + employee equity + benefits
✅ What you'll build: A SaaS platform that automates workforce management and compliance for construction sites, eliminating manual paperwork and giving site managers their time back to focus on actual construction work
✅ Work setup: Hybrid (dev team day on Wednesdays at Maria 01, Helsinki – otherwise flexible office/remote as you prefer), maximum maker time, minimal meetings
✅ Tech stack: TypeScript, Next.js, React, Tailwind, Supabase, AWS, GitHub Actions, Playwright & Jest
✅ Growth & autonomy: High ownership from day one, influence technical decisions, choose your projects, and ship code to production in your first week
✅ Team & culture: Join a 5-person dev team (10+ total) at a revenue-strong startup, bootstrapped at first, now backed by investors, with paying customers who love the product, and low bureaucracy
✅ Why this might not be for you: We're looking for proactive builders who thrive with freedom and responsibility – if you prefer clearly defined specs and step-by-step guidance, this isn't the right fit
Why Raxalle could be your next move
This role makes sense if you're at a point where you want real ownership without the chaos.
Maybe you've been at a larger company where good ideas get lost in process, or you've seen startups where you're constantly firefighting instead of building. We're in that sweet spot: stable enough that you can focus on meaningful work, small enough that your decisions actually matter.
Why we're hiring: Our business is growing faster than our capacity to build. We have a clear business roadmap for the next 2+ years, paying customers who love the product, and more opportunities than we can execute on. We need another strong builder who can take ownership of full features and help us move faster, without adding overhead.
You'll be joining our senior developer team, autonomous builders who ship fast, care about code quality, and make our product better even when no one's watching.
What you'll actually do
You'll work on our SaaS platform that automates workforce management and compliance for construction sites. Right now, we're focused on automating day-to-day processes on the construction site to eliminate the manual paperwork that keeps site managers from doing their actual job: building things.
Your typical projects include:
Building new features with our designer and dev team using our modern stack (TypeScript, Next.js, React, Tailwind, Supabase)
Making architectural decisions and technical tradeoffs for your domain
Writing clean, tested code that others will maintain, and refactoring old code when you spot improvement opportunities
Reviewing PRs and suggesting better approaches
Integrating external APIs while keeping our data model flexible
Contributing to our CI/CD pipeline and test automation
Your typical day could look like this:
Morning: Review teammates' code, catch up on any blockers
Deep work blocks: Build features, solve technical challenges, ship incremental improvements
Weekly on Wednesday: Team sync at the office/remotely, design/product discussions as needed
Who you'll work with:
5-person dev team – all full-stack, application mostly front-end heavy
Denis (designer) and Lauri (CEO) for product planning
Sales and Customer Success team - communicating customer wishes and feedback on
Direct users on construction sites who give us immediate feedback
Success metrics:
Week 1: You're pushing code to production
Month 1: You're working on your first projects and learning rapidly
Ongoing: You're proactively improving our codebase, not just completing Linear issues
About Raxalle
We solve workforce management chaos on construction sites.
The problem: Construction companies waste insane amounts of time on redundant paperwork, compliance tracking, and managing external labor. It's painful, manual, and keeps skilled people from doing actual valuable work.
Our solution: We built a SaaS platform that automates workforce management and compliance processes for the people on the ground. Customers adopt us fast (often from the first demo) because we solve a real problem.
Where we are:
70+ customers (mid-to-large Finnish construction companies) with strong organic expansion.
Bootstrapped first, then raised investment from Gorilla Capital & Sofokus Ventures in late 2023
10+ -person team at Maria 01, Helsinki
What drives us:
We exist because our founders spotted this problem firsthand and customers signed up before we wrote a single line of code. That product-market fit is still our north star – we build what users need, validate constantly, and ship features that genuinely make their lives better.
Culture:
Energetic, ambitious, professional. We make decisions fast, skip the politics, and give people room to do their best work. Momentum matters more than perfection – we'd rather ship and learn than plan forever.

How to apply
We're looking for these qualities:

Healthy skepticism – you push back constructively and contribute to better solutions, not just execute tickets
